Flooring & Refinishing Subcontractor Partners ( Install + Refinish )

We’re building long-term partnerships with A+ skilled flooring subcontractors who take pride in craftsmanship, operate professionally, and value consistency and communication. This is not one-off or patchwork work. We partner with crews who want steady projects, clear scopes, and alignment with a company that values quality over speed.

Location: Raleigh / Durham / Cary, NC

Work Type: Residential projects

Pay: Per job ( consistent volume for reliable partners )

Scope of Work (Based on Your Expertise)

• Hardwood installation
• LVP installation
• Carpet installation
• Hardwood sanding & refinishing
• Stain and finish application (water- or oil-based)
• Jobsite protection and clean completion

You will only be assigned work aligned with your proven skill set.

All subcontractors report directly to our Operations Manager and work within our documented systems and quality standards.

Professional Standards & Team Alignment

We require continued training and participation in regular company meetings to review projects, discuss quality expectations, and maintain alignment with how we operate at Right Step Flooring. Our subcontractors are not siloed crews, they are extensions of our team.

Requirements

• Proven flooring installation and/or refinishing experience
• Reliable transportation and professional tools
• Valid insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work independently while following standards
• Openness to quality checks, punch lists, and feedback
