We’re hiring an In-Home Flooring Consultant in Raleigh. This is not a pressure sales role. And it’s not a short-term hustle. This role is best suited for someone who naturally thinks in systems. If you enjoy improving processes, building repeatable workflows, and stepping back to see how everything connects, you’ll thrive here. If you prefer loosely defined roles or winging it, this won’t be a fit.

Idle Candidate
This role is built for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, not a lone-wolf or “eat-what-you-kill” sales style. It’s also not a fit if you’re looking for a side gig, juggling another job, or prefer to work independently without regular collaboration. We work closely together, spend time in the office, and stay aligned as a team. If you’re looking for something part-time, fully remote, or loosely connected, this won’t be the right environment.
This Role Requires:
Comfort working independently in customers’ homes
Strong attention to detail , mistakes impact pricing and installs
Accountability for accurate measurements and information
Ability to drive Commercial Van (Mobile Showroom)
A calm, professional presence in real conversations (not scripts)
If you enjoy structured, in-home consultations and want a long-term role with training provided, we’d love to hear from you.
Benefits:
Paid time off
Professional development assistance
Application Question(s):
A homeowner loves two flooring options you’ve shown them, one that fits their budget and one they emotionally prefer but costs 20% more. They’re unsure and say they want to “think about it.”
What do you do next? How would you help them make a confident decision without being pushy? Walk us through your process when visiting a customer’s home for the first time. What steps do you take from the moment you arrive to the time you leave?
