Field Superintendent – Flooring

We are seeking a driven and experienced Field Superintendent – Flooring to lead and oversee residential flooring installation projects across the Raleigh / Triangle area. In this role, you will coordinate daily field operations, supervise installation crews, maintain project timelines, ensure quality standards are met, and deliver an exceptional homeowner experience. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in organized job sites, clear communication, and getting projects completed the right way from start to finish.

Pay : $65,000 – $75,000 per year

Location : Raleigh / Triangle Area

Work Location : In Person / Field Based

Responsibilities : 

• Lead and Supervise Flooring Installation Crews on Active Residential Job Sites
• Coordinate Daily Schedules, Installer Assignments, and Project Timelines
• Ensure Materials, Tools, and Jobsite Readiness Prior to Installation Start Dates
• Review Project Scope, Measurements, and Work Orders Before Installation Begins
• Conduct Regular Site Visits to Monitor Progress, Workmanship, and Professionalism
• Maintain Quality Control Standards for Hardwood, LVP, Carpet, Tile, and Related Flooring Systems
• Communicate Clearly With Homeowners Regarding Progress, Scheduling, and Expectations
• Identify and Resolve Field Issues Quickly to Prevent Delays or Rework
• Coordinate With Office Staff, Operations, Sales, and Vendors to Keep Projects Moving Smoothly
• Maintain Clean, Safe, and Organized Job Sites in Accordance With Company Standards
• Track Daily Updates, Photos, Notes, and Project Milestones Using Company Software
• Complete Final Walkthroughs and Ensure Projects Are Properly Closed Out

Qualifications :

• Proven Experience in Flooring, Construction, Remodeling, or Field Supervision
• Strong Leadership Experience Managing Crews or Subcontractors
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
• Strong Organizational Skills With the Ability to Manage Multiple Active Projects
• Ability to Read Work Orders, Measurements, Layouts, and Installation Scope Details
• Solution-Oriented Mindset With the Ability to Stay Calm Under Pressure
• Experience With Hardwood, LVP, Carpet, Tile, or Residential Remodeling Preferred
• Spanish Speaking Strongly Preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation
